I protest too is not a photograph but the documentation of a performance, the performance in this case being my reinvesting the image with a new narrative.
It was presented at White Columns in NYC in July 2012 as part of the Do your thing group show.
I protest too is part of a series of artworks in which I photoshopped my face into existing protest pictures.
A book regrouping the entire series was published by Pau Wau Publications for Zine Time at the Newsstand.
